As a Membership Sales Representative, your job is to provide a positive experience for Planet Fitness members, prospective members, and visitors by delivering top-notch customer service.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Welcome individuals who visit the facility or are prospective members with exceptional customer service.
• Oversee all front desk tasks, including managing correspondence, maintaining records, and updating relevant documents:
• Assist callers in a courteous manner and guide them through the process of obtaining the answers they need.
• Mark the presence of the people.
• New member sign-up.
• Provide informative tours for those interested in joining.
• Aid members in facilitating necessary updates to their accounts.
• At the end of the day, receiving exceptional customer service is crucial for members, and promptly addressing issues is a key part of the process. By promptly responding to member inquiries and concerns and elevating the matter when needed, you can help ensure a positive experience for members.
• Play a role in upholding the neatness and sanitization of the club.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Previous work in customer service is a favorable attribute.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• A profound love for staying fit and prioritizing personal health.
• Maintaining a sunny disposition can have a profound effect on one's mental and physical health
• Meeting deadlines and being trustworthy are non-negotiables.
• Displays outstanding customer service competencies; proficient in fostering positive and proficient connections with clients and associates, outshining the customers’ expectations.
• A highly effective communicator with a talent for empathizing and finding solutions.
• Demonstrate diplomacy by staying composed, finding common ground, and keeping communication respectful.
• The minimum necessary educational qualification for this role is a High School diploma or its comparable GED credential.
• The minimum age requirement for participation is 18 years.
• CPR/AED Certification required.

Physical Demands

• The demand to maintain an upright position or move consistently while on duty endures.
• Uninterrupted chattering either via phone or in-person while on duty.
• This position entails lifting weights of up to 50 pounds at irregular intervals, which necessitates physical fitness.
• There is a possibility of encountering harmful chemicals occasionally.
