Job Title: Direct Support Professional $500 SIGN-ON BONUS

Hourly Rate: $18-19.00 hr.

Shifts Needed: Weekdays 4pm-12am/Weekends AM/PM

Job Status: Part-Time/Full-Time

Work Locations: Costa Mesa, CA

Walk-in Interview Dates: Tuesdays & Thursdays from 10am-2pm

Here’s What You Will Do:

  • Assist children with physical and developmental disabilities in their daily activities, focusing on hygiene, grooming, and dietary needs.
  • Develop and implement daily routines based on Individual Program Plans.
  • Promote social interactions and organize recreational activities.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and healthy environment for the children.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and report any incidents or concerns.
  • Participate in the personal care of clients and assist with meal preparation and clean-up.

Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or GED. CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
  • 3+ years of relevant experience with children, especially those with developmental challenges or mental health conditions.
  • Willing to obtain necessary certifications like Group Home License within the hiring period.
  • Valid in-state driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Preferred: CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) certification or willingness to obtain within 6 months.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Willingness to work indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions.
